Here's a basic recipe for a simple cheese omelet:

2 eggs

1 tablespoon butter

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup grated cheese


Instructions:


Step 1: Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them with a fork or whisk until the whites and yolks are completely combined.

Step 2: Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the eggs and stir to combine.

Step 3: Melt the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 4: Once the butter is melted and the skillet is hot, pour the egg mixture into the skillet.

Step 4: Use a spatula to gently stir the eggs as they cook, lifting the edges of the omelet to allow the uncooked eggs to flow underneath.

Step 5: When the eggs are nearly set but still slightly runny on top, sprinkle the grated cheese over half of the omelet.

Step 6: Use the spatula to fold the other half of the omelet over the cheese, forming a half-moon shape.

Step 7: Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the omelet is cooked through.

Step 8: Use the spatula to slide the omelet onto a plate and serve immediately.

Note: You can customize the fillings in your omelet to your liking. Simply add your desired ingredients (such as diced vegetables, cooked meat, or herbs) to the beaten eggs before cooking.
